Today has been the best day I’ve had in months, finished off with a superb time at The Fishpool Inn, which is always our experience of it. We have to give special mention to Stevie, who is an absolute credit to the place. He greets us and chats with us with his excellent wit and sense of fun. It’s what makes a local a ‘local’. Or is that a ‘local’ a local?! Anyway, it’s a charming, fun and great place to be with the best wine and brilliant food.

It was my first time at The Fishpool Inn yesterday I can honestly say the food was delicious and the service was spot on. I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending it to friends and family.

What can I say, I really don’t want to say how good this place is, as I want to keep it ‘all to myself’! However, the staff, service, the building, the welcome, the food, drink, all are the best I have encountered in the whole of the UK! I booked in at lunch for my wife’s birthday, and even during this post-lockdown, the welcome, safety steps and service were amazing. I also had the nicest burger ever!

Fabulous reception from the great staff at this beautiful Inn. We dined on the first day The Fishpool Inn reopened after lockdown and everything was so well organised and thought out, everything went smoothly. We felt well cared for and protected and nothing was compromised. The food, if anything was even better than we’ve ever had before.

We had a lovely meal for our granddaughters 18th birthday. Warmly welcomed and shown to our
table and the menu explained. Drinks order taken quickly and our food order was taken after our choices were made. Food was excellent, top drawer, better than we expected and the portions were very generous.
All in all a great experience.

My husband and myself came for lunch to The Fishpool Inn today to celebrate his 60th birthday. We had never visited this inn before, but had heard good things about it from friends. We were not disappointed. The menu was varied but didn’t over-face you with too much choice. The food we chose was delicious and good value for the quality of it. We were served by Ben, who was helpful and pleasant, and eager to make our visit a positive one. We will
definitely be back.

Well done to The Fishpool Inn and all the team involved. We had a family party to celebrate our daughters 21st. We had been to The Fishpool a couple of times and we liked the menu and location. There were 23 in our party and all received starters and mains together which was excellent, well done to the kitchen staff. The food was
amazing and delicious. We would not have any hesitations in booking The Fishpool In again, whether it be for the two of us
or a large party, thank you.
